This Program is designed to familiarize the experienced, certified rebreather mine diver with the techniques, equipment and mindset required for sidemount diving activities in an underwater, overhead environment. Enable technical mine divers to proficiently assemble and use sidemount diving equipment. Teach mine divers the proper techniques to safely conduct mine diving activities that warrant the use of sidemount diving equipment (i.e. small passages, logistics and restrictions). Expose technical mine divers to the conservation concerns and ethical responsibilities that present themselves during sidemount / no mount diving activities in underwater mines.
No dives may be conducted to depths greater than the qualification of the student.
One of IANTD differentials in the formation of any confident and safe IANTD Diver is our training philosophy known as:
A relaxed confident diver is a safe diver who will enjoy exploring inner-space and pursue diving adventures for a lifetime.
