Adv. Cave - DPV Rebreather Diver

This Program is designed to provide advanced training in cave or mine diving skills to the experienced, certified, responsible cave diver who wishes to conduct dives that warrant Diver Propulsion Vehicle use and techniques. Expose cave divers to conservation concerns and ethical responsibilities that present themselves during Diver Propulsion Vehicle uses either for extended penetration, touring, or exploration.

How deep can you dive with the IANTD Advanced Cave - DPV Diver (pSCR, CCR) Program?

No dives may be conducted to depths greater than the qualification of the student.

What do you need to enroll in this program?

  • Must be certified as IANTD Rebreather Cave Diver or equivalent
  • Minimum Age 18 years old.
  • Proof of a minimum of 50 logged Cave or Mine Dives and 50 hours on the rebreather to be used.

What is the minimum materials requirements?

  • IANTD Rebreather Cave Diver Student Kit

What this program must include?

  • Academic Sessions
  • Confined Water Sessions
  • Open Water Sessions
