Adv. Cave or Mine - No Mount Diver
This Program is designed to familiarize the experienced, certified technical cave or mine diver with the techniques; equipment and mindset required for No Mount diving activities in an underwater, overhead environment. Enable technical cave or mine divers to proficiently assemble and use No Mount diving equipment. Teach cave or mine divers the proper techniques to safely conduct cave diving activities that warrant the use of No Mount diving equipment (i.e. small passages, logistics and restrictions). Expose technical cave or mine divers to the conservation concerns and ethical responsibilities that present themselves during No Mount diving activities in underwater caves or mines.
How deep can you dive with the IANTD Adv. Cave or Mine - No Mount Diver Program?
No dives may be conducted to depths greater than the qualification of the student.
What do you need to enroll in this program?
- Certifications requirements:
- For Adv. Cave - No Mount Diver:
- IANTD Technical Cave Diver or higher or equivalent
- For Adv. Mine - No Mount Diver:
- IANTD Technical Mine Diver or higher or equivalent.
- For Adv. Cave - No Mount Diver:
- Age requirement:
- A minimum of 18 years of age for Diver qualification with a parent or guardian authorization.
- Dive experience:
- For Adv. Cave - No Mount Diver:
- Must provide proof of a minimum of 50 logged Cave Dives.
- For Adv. Mine - No Mount Diver:
- Must provide proof of a minimum of 50 logged Mine Dives.
- For Adv. Cave - No Mount Diver:
