Marine Ecology Specialized Diver
These Courses have been designed to provide qualified divers with specialized training in the Marine Ecology areas such as Coral Identification, Shark Diver, Shark Awareness (Academic Only), Echinoderm Identification, Turtle Identification & Interaction, Manta Identification & Interaction, Manatee Interaction, Fish Identification, Whale shark Interaction, Nudibranch Identification or other Marine Ecology specialization distinctive specialty approved by IANTD World HQ.
Course Limits and Requirements:
- Maximum Depth: Equal to the diver’s previous certification level
- Age Requirement: 10-14 years old (Junior Diver with parent/guardian authorization), 15 years old (with parent/guardian authorization), OR 18 years old.
- Prerequisites: Must be qualified as IANTD Open Water Diver or equivalent
- Equipment Requirements: Double cylinders with dual outlet manifold, OR Sidemount configuration
