Assistant Instructor

This Course is designed to train qualified IANTD Divemasters, to teach students in theoretical knowledge and confined waterskills of the IANTD Open Water Diver Course.

How deep can you dive with this program?

• No dives may be conducted to depths greater than 132 fsw (40 msw).

What do you need to enroll in this program?

• Must be qualified as:
  • Either IANTD Divemaster or Dive Supervisor or equivalent.
  • IANTD Deep Diver or equivalent
  • IANTD CPR or equivalent
  • IANTD First Aid or equivalent
  • IANTD Oxygen Administrator or equivalent
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must proof of a minimum of 80 logged dives.
  • Dive experience must include dives in a variety of environments including but not limited to Night Dive/Limited Visibility, Navigation, Marine Ecology, Deep Dive or any other Sport Specialty Diver Program, other than Diver First Aid, CPR, Oxygen Administrator, AED or any other Medical related programs.

• IANTD Instructor Student Kit.

What are the equipment requirements?

• Equipment Requirements listed in the IANTD Diver Course the Assistant Instructor plans to assist are mandatory.
• Configurations allowed:
  
  • Single cylinder.
• Fulfill all Equipment Requirements as specified in the general Sport Diver Courses overview.
