Boat Diver

The IANTD Boat Diver course teaches safe entry, exit, and diving techniques for boat-based adventures on vibrant reefs and also provide qualified Boat Divers an overall awareness of the boat and to perform from boats.

How deep can you dive with this program?

• No dives may be conducted to depths greater than diver’s previous certification level.

What do you need to enroll in this program?

• Must be a qualified IANTD Open Water Diver or equivalent
• Must be a minimum of 10 years of age and 14 years of age for Jr. Diver qualification WITH a parent or guardian authorization,
  • OR
• Must be a minimum of 15 years of age for Diver qualification WITH a parent or guardian authorization,
  
  • OR
• Must be a minimum or 18 years of age.

What are the training material requirements?

• IANTD Boat Diver Manual.

What are the equipment requirements?

• Fulfill all Equipment Requirements as specified in the general Sport Diver Courses overview.
• Configurations allowed:
  • Single cylinder
  • Doubles with isolator valve
  • Sidemount
