This certification has been designed to provide PSD divers with the highest recognition in the PSD Diver level before entering the professional diving circle in teaching.

How deep can you dive with the IANTD Public Safety Diver Program?

No dives may be conducted to depths greater than diver’s previous certification level.

What do you need to enroll in this program?

Being a police officer, firefighter, pare-military or working directly on public safety team or professional rescue team.

• Certifications requirements:
  • IANTD Public Safety Diver or equivalent.
• Must have 3 of the following  IANTD certifications:
  • IANTD PSD - Contaminated Water Diver
  • IANTD PSD - U/W Crime Scene Investigator Diver
  • IANTD PSD - Hull Search Diver
  • IANTD PSD - Lifting Specialist Diver
• Age requirement:
  • Must be a minimum or 18 years of age.
• Dive experience:
  • Proof of a minimum of 75 non-training logged missions
