Open Water Free Diver

This is the entry-level certification course for individuals wishing to learn the fundamentals of breath hold diving for the purpose of increasing underwater awareness.

How deep can you dive with this Program?
  • Maximum Open Water depth of 33 fsw (10 msw).
  • Maximum shallow water depth of 15 feet (4.5 meters).
What do you need to enroll in this program?
  • Certifications requirements:
    • IANTD Snorkeling Diver or equivalent experience.
  • Age requirement:
    • Must be a minimum of 9 years of age.
  • Dive experience:
    • No diving experience required.
What is the minimum materials requirements?
  • IANTD Open Water Free Diver Student Kit.
