Recreational Trimix Diver

This program is designed to provide Sport Divers with a breathing medium for extending their dives to sport diving depths using Equivalent Narcotic Depths (END) no greater than 100 fsw (30 msw). The program qualifies divers to perform no-stop required dives using Recreational Trimix gas mixtures to a maximum depth of 132 fsw (40 msw).

Program Specifications

  • Maximum Depth: Equal to the student’s previous qualification limit, up to a maximum of 132 fsw (40 msw), with an END no greater than 100 fsw (30 msw)
  • Minimum Age: 15 years old (with parent/guardian authorization) or 18 years old
  • Prerequisites:
    • IANTD Deep Diver (or equivalent)
    • IANTD EANx Diver (or equivalent)
    • Proof of a minimum of 15 logged dives
  • Required Materials: IANTD Recreational Trimix Diver Student Kit
  • Equipment Requirements: Must fulfill all general Sport Diver Course equipment requirements (Single cylinder, Doubles with isolator valve, and Sidemount configurations allowed)
