Recreational CCR Refresher

This non-qualification program refreshes a diver’s knowledge and skills after a period of inactivity on a specific rebreather unit for which they are already certified. It is also used to update certified RCCR divers on manufacturer hardware/software upgrades or ensure skill proficiency prior to starting higher-level RCCR/CCR training. Upon completion, divers may request an RCCR Diver Refresher Card showing the date of completion for that specific unit.

Program Specifications

  • Maximum Depth: 100 fsw (30 msw)
  • Prerequisites: Must be qualified as an IANTD Recreational CCR Diver (or equivalent or higher) on the specific rebreather unit
  • Required Materials: IANTD Recreational CCR Diver Student Kit
  • Equipment Requirements:
    • Must fulfill all equipment requirements specified in the IANTD Rebreather Diver Courses – General Standards
    • Open-circuit bailout cylinder (minimum $30\text{ ft}^3$ / 4 liters)
