Deep Diver
This course is designed to provide responsible training to divers who plan to dive to a maximum of 132 fsw (40 msw) on air, EANx, or Recreational Trimix mixtures. The IANTD Deep Diver Course trains divers in skills, performance, theory, and planning of deep dives.
Program Specifications
- Maximum Depth: 132 fsw (40 msw)
- Minimum Age: 15 years old (with parent/guardian authorization) or 18 years old
- Prerequisites:
- Must be qualified as an IANTD Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent
- Must provide proof of a minimum of 20 logged dives
- Required Materials: IANTD Deep Diver Student Kit
- Equipment Requirements: Must fulfill all general Sport Diver Course equipment requirements (Single cylinder with dual outlet valve [Y or H], single valve with a separate pony cylinder of at least 19 cu ft [538 L], Doubles with isolator valve, or Sidemount configurations allowed)
