CCR Tek Lite Cave or Tek Lite Mine Diver

This course trains CCR Advanced EANx Divers (or higher) to safely plan and execute rebreather cave or mine penetration dives while navigating the main tunnel. It introduces extended penetration management, complex line work along the main baseline, and accelerated decompression procedures using closed-circuit rebreathers.

Program Specifications

  • Maximum Depth: 150 fsw (45 msw)
  • Prerequisites:
    • For CCR Tek Lite Cave Track: Must be qualified as an IANTD RCCR Cavern Diver (or equivalent)
    • For CCR Tek Lite Mine Track: Must be qualified as an IANTD RCCR Limited Mine Diver (or equivalent)
    • Core Technical Qualification: Must be qualified as an IANTD CCR Advanced EANx Diver / Tek Lite CCR course
    • Logged Experience: Proof of a minimum of 40 logged rebreather dives and 40 hours of underwater dive time on the rebreather
  • Required Materials: IANTD CCR Tek Lite Cave Diver Student Kit
  • Equipment Requirements:
    • Approved rebreather unit listed on the IANTD webpage
    • One (1) bailout cylinder
    • One (1) decompression cylinder
