CCR Refresher
This non-qualification program refreshes a diver’s knowledge and practical skills after a period of inactivity on a specific rebreather unit. It is also utilized to update certified divers on manufacturer hardware/software upgrades or to verify skill proficiency and technical knowledge prior to beginning a higher-level CCR training course. Upon successful completion, divers may request a CCR Diver Refresher Card referencing the specific unit and completion date.
Program Specifications
- Maximum Depth: 132 fsw (40 msw)
- Prerequisites: Must be qualified as an IANTD CCR Advanced EANx Diver (or equivalent or higher) on the specific rebreather unit being used
- Required Materials: IANTD CCR Advanced EANx Student Kit
- Equipment Requirements:
- Must fulfill all Equipment Requirements specified in the IANTD Rebreather Diver Courses – General Standards
- Appropriate bailout cylinder(s)
- Access to appropriate gas analyzer(s)
