Boat Diver
The IANTD Boat Diver course teaches safe entry, exit, and diving techniques for boat-based adventures on vibrant reefs while providing qualified Boat Divers with an overall awareness of vessel operations and procedures.
Program Specifications
- Maximum Depth: Equal to the diver’s previous certification level
- Minimum Age: 10–14 years old (Junior Diver with parent/guardian authorization), 15 years old (with parent/guardian authorization), or 18 years old
- Prerequisites: Must be qualified as an IANTD Open Water Diver or equivalent
- Required Materials: IANTD Boat Diver Manual
- Equipment Requirements: Must fulfill all general Sport Diver Course equipment requirements (Single cylinder, Doubles with isolator valve, and Sidemount configurations allowed)
