DPV Diver
These Programs have been designed to provide qualified DIVER PROPULSION VEHICLE Divers an overall awareness of the DPV dive and to be able perform DPV dives.
Course Limits and Requirements
- Maximum Depth: Equal to the diver’s previous certification level
- Age Requirement: 12-14 years old (Junior Diver with parents/guardian authorization), 15 years old (with parents/guardian authorization), or 18 years old
- Prerequisites: Must be qualified as IANTD Open Water Diver or equivalent
- Material Requirements: Diver Propulsion Vehicle
- Equipment Requirements:
- Must own or have access to a DPV suitable for the dives being conducted
- Double cylinders with dual outlet manifold, OR Sidemount configuration
