Life Support Systems Service Technician

This Program is designed to train competent personnel in the safe preparation and maintenance of life support systems to be used

in SCUBA diving, and with breathing gases other than air. This includes service, maintenance and visual inspection procedures

How deep can you dive with the IANTD Life Support Systems Service Technician Program?

This is not a dive level program.

What do you need to enroll in this program?

  • Must be qualified in IANTD EANx Blender or equivalent.
  • Must be a minimum or 18 years of age without guardian approval.
  • Must be recommended by an IANTD Instructor or Facility.
  • Provide proof of Technician status through manufacturers that the Technician will be servicing equipment or qualification through the Institute of American Scuba Technicians (IAST)>/li>

What is the minimum Equipment Requirements?

  • Work bench and suitable maintenance equipment and tools.

What this program must include?

  • Academic Sessions
  • Confined Water Sessions
  • Open Water Sessions
