Technical Supervisor (OC, Rebreather)

This Program is designed to provide recognition of leadership qualifications of competent divers.

Prepare Technical Diver Supervisors to supervise divers training at the the level they are Supervisors for.

How deep can you dive with the IANTD Technical Supervisor (OC, SCR, CCR) Program?

  • No dives may be conducted to depths greater than the diver certification level.

What do you need to enroll in this program?

  • For Technical Supervisor Diver
    1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Technical Diver
    2. Must provide proof of a minimum of 150 logged dives, of which at least 50 were deeper than 130 fsw (39 msw) and at least 10 were to a depth of at least 190 fsw (57 msw).
  • For Normoxic Trimix Supervisor:
    1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Normoxic Trimix Diver
    2. Must provide proof of a minimum of 150 logged dives, of which at least 50 were deeper than 130 fsw (39 msw) and at least 10 were to a depth of at least 190 fsw (57 msw).
  • For Trimix Supervisor
    1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Trimix Diver
    2. Must provide proof of a minimum of 200 logged dives, of which at least 20 were Trimix dives deeper than 150 fsw (45 msw) and at least 10 were to a depth of at least 200 fsw (60 msw).
  • For Wreck Supervisor:
    1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Technical Wreck Diver.
    2. Must provide proof of a minimum of 100 logged dives, of which at least 35 were wreck dives.
  • For Cave Supervisor:
    1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Technical Cave Diver.
    2. Must provide proof of a minimum of 100 logged dives, of which at least 60 were cave dives.
  • For Mine Supervisor:
    1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Mine Diver.
    2. Must provide proof of a minimum of 100 logged dives, of which at least 60 were mine dives.
  • For Rebreather SCR or CCR Supervisor
    1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Rebreather Diver at the level in which dives are being conducted.
    2. Must provide proof of a minimum of 60 were on Rebreathers.
  • For Rebreather Normoxic Trimix Supervisor
    1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Rebreather Normoxic Trimix Diver
    2. Must provide proof of a minimum of 80 rebreather logged dives, of which at least 50 were deeper than 130 fsw (39 msw) and at least 10 were to a depth of at least 190 fsw (57 msw).
  • For Rebreather Trimix Supervisor:
    1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Rebreather Trimix diver
    2. Must provide proof of a minimum of 100 rebreather logged dives, of which at least 50 were Trimix dives deeper than 200 fsw (60 msw) and at least 10 were to a depth of at least 260 fsw (80 msw).
  • For Rebreather Wreck Supervisor:
    1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Rebreather Wreck diver
    2. Must provide proof of a minimum of 80 logged rebreather wrecks dives.
  • For Rebreather Cave Supervisor:
    1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Rebreather Cave Diver
    2. Must provide proof of a minimum of 80 logged rebreather cave dives

What is the minimum materials requirements?

  • For Rebreather: IANTD Divemaster Student Kit
  • For Open Circuit: IANTD Divemaster Student Kit.

What this program must include?

  • Academic Sessions
  • Confined Water Sessions
  • Open Water Sessions
