In Water Recompression Supervisor

This Program is designed to train competent divers in the safer use and technology of basic of in- water recompression (IWR)

at depths up to 20 fsw (6 msw), using pure Oxygen as a breathing gas.

How deep can you dive with the IANTD IWR Supervisor (OC, SCR, CCR) Program?

At the maximum depth the PO2, under any circumstance the PO2 may not exceed 1.6 atm.

What do you need to enroll in this program?

  • Open Circuit
    • IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diver or higher or equivalent.
    • IANTD Diver First Aid or equivalent
    • IANTD Rescue Diver or equivalent
    • IANTD Oxygen Administrator or equivalent
    • Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
    • Proof of a minimum of 100 logged dives.
  • Rebreather
    • IANTD Rebreather Advanced Nitrox Diver or higher or equivalent.
    • IANTD Diver First Aid or equivalent
    • IANTD Rebreather Rescue Diver or equivalent
    • IANTD Oxygen Administrator or equivalent
    • Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
    • Proof of a minimum of 50 logged dives on the rebreather to be used.

What is the minimum materials requirements?

  • For Rebreather: IANTD IWR Student Kit
  • For Open Circuit: IANTD IWR Student Kit.

What this program must include?

  • Academic Sessions
  • Confined Sessions
  • Open Water Sessions (Optional)
